The short version
Nothing about you is sent to me automatically. The only personal information I ever receive is what you deliberately type into a form or put in an email. The site does keep some things in your own browser so the tools work. That stays on your device.
What is stored in your browser
The free tools let you leave and come back, which means they have to remember where you were. That is done with ordinary browser storage on your own device. Today the site writes:
- your progress and answers in each of the five tools, so a refresh does not lose them
- your progress and answers in the Growth Advisor, which uses per-tab storage: it is gone when you close the tab, and in any case after six hours
- whether you prefer the light or dark theme
None of that is sent to me by the storage itself. It sits in your browser until you clear it, and every tool has a "Start over" control that deletes its own entry. It is not a cookie, it is not readable by another website, and it does not follow you anywhere. What does reach me is only what you submit, which is the next section.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
There are no cookies, no analytics software, no advertising pixels and no third-party tracking scripts on this site, see the Cookie Policy. The web host keeps standard server logs, as every host does; those are the host's records, not mine, and I do not analyse them.
What you choose to send
Several places on the site let you send something to me, and each one tells you at the point of asking. In total these may collect your name, work email, practice name, a phone number if you give one, and the answers or message you chose to submit:
- the application: your answers about the practice, plus your contact details
- the Growth Advisor: your name, work email and phone, your practice details, your answers and the assessment they produced. It asks for those part way through rather than at the end, and if you give them and then leave without finishing, I am still sent what you had answered by then, marked as incomplete so I do not mistake it for a finished assessment. Leave the fields blank and nothing is sent at all.
- a tool result you ask me to email you: your name and email, and the result itself
- the one-page 90-day plan: your work email, and a practice name if you give one
- any email you send to [email protected] directly
That information is used for one purpose: to read it and reply to you about your practice. It is not sold, rented or shared.
Mailing lists and text messages
I do not run a mailing list, so submitting anything here does not subscribe you to one. The Growth Advisor carries an optional box for occasional notes on clinic systems: it is separate from sending your assessment, it is not ticked for you, and leaving it alone changes nothing about the reply you get. Nothing else on the site subscribes you to anything, and it is never a side effect of using a tool.
A phone number, where you choose to give one, is used to reply to your enquiry. It is not used for marketing texts, and giving it is not consent to any.
Please do not send patient information
This site is not a secure channel and is not covered by a Business Associate Agreement. Do not send protected health information (PHI), patient records, or any other confidential clinical data through the contact form or by ordinary email. If your enquiry involves that kind of material, say so in general terms and we will arrange a secure channel first.
Your choices
You can ask me what correspondence I hold from you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to [email protected] and I will action it.
